Third International Scientific Conference Volunteerism Research: Areas, Interdisciplinary Context, Forming the Professional Community, Prospects for International Integration

Dear colleagues! 

You are invited to take part in the Third International Scientific Conference Volunteerism Research: Areas, Interdisciplinary Context, Forming the Professional Community, Prospects for International Integration

The purpose of the Conference is to review the status of volunteerism research in the post-Soviet area, discuss the research results, share experiences, and identify research materials for preparing a global report on volunteerism contributions to peace and sustainable development.

Researchers, experts, representatives of authorities and the nonprofit t sector from Russia, the near abroad and  other countries are invited to participate in the Conference.
Speakers will be selected on a competitive basis. Priority will be given to  presentations based on the results of specific studies.  Presentations summarizing practices of volunteerism are also acceptable.
Speakers will be selected based on applications to be filled out and submitted electronically following the link.
Speakers from the CIS countries will be provided with financial support covering flights and accommodations. Russian speakers may be offered accommodations at the expense of the Conference organizers.

Conference Organizers: Center for Studies of Civil Society and the Nonprofit Sector, NRU HSE and the UN Volunteers Program (UNV).

The conference will be held on 29-30 May 2018 at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (Moscow). Conference venue: 20 Myasnitskaya Street, Moscow

The working languages ​​of the Conference are Russian and English. The plenary and a number of panels  will be provided with simultaneous interpretation.
