The 8th International Summer School «Reserves of sustainable development of NGOs in Russia and abroad: innovative approaches and approbation»

The Centre for Studies of Civil Society and the Nonprofit Sector National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), is pleased to invite you to the The 8th International Summer School «Reserves of sustainable development of NGOs in Russia and abroad: innovative approaches and approbation» which will take place from September 10 to 13, 2019, in Moscow.

The Summer School of the Centre for Studies of Civil Society and the Nonprofit Sector National Research University Higher School of Economics is a platform where researchers interested in the development of civil society and the non-profit sector discuss the results of their research, learn the latest theoretical concepts and empirical data, receive informational and methodological support from leading Russian and foreign experts.

The aim of The 8th International Summer School «Reserves of sustainable development of NGOs in Russia and abroad: innovative approaches and approbation» is to promote research in non-profit sector and foster scientific exchange between young researchers, scientists, faculty, and students. It will continue the tradition of previous summer schools with paper presentations, workshops, tutorials, faculty presentations, and networking opportunities.
 
We encourage applications from students and young researchers from Russia, the CIS countries, Europe and Asia, who pursue different points of view in the field of Reserves of Sustainable Development of NGOs.
Working languages - English and Russian.
The focus of the summer school in 2019 will be the theme of social impact investments, that is, investments made with the intention of obtaining a positive, measurable social or environmental effect along with a financial result.
Since its debut back in 2012, the Summer School has had a privilege of welcoming as its faculty a superb range of international scholars to lecture and network with their fellows on multiple theoretical and applied dimensions in the studies of non-profit sector.

The cost:

There is no fee for participating in The 8th International Summer School «Reserves of sustainable development of NGOs in Russia and abroad: innovative approaches and approbation». However, travel costs will not be covered by the organizators.

Participants of the Summer School will be selected on a competitive basis. 

Requirements:

Good knowledge of English and Russian

The current research or applied project in the field of reserves for sustainable development of NGOs

Please note that travel and accommodation are paid by participants. If necessary, a visa invitation can be arranged

11, Myasnitskaya Street, HSE, Moscow, Russia.
